Key partnerships
Community Forest Trust
Our partnership with the Community Forest Trust (CFT) demonstrates Stonewater’s commitment to protecting the environment and creating sustainable communities. We donate £50 for every house we build, which the CFT uses to plant five trees and to fund community outreach programmes, helping children engage with nature. In addition, we plant one tree for every new home on our new schemes.
More than 30,000 trees have been planted to date.
Homes England Strategic Partnership
Stonewater has a Strategic Partnership with Homes England to deliver two programmes;
- SPP1 which is in partnership with Guinness Partnership to deliver 4,500 homes by March 2026
- SPP2 to solely deliver 2,680 homes by March 2029
INVITE project
The INVITE project aimed to investigate how assistive and everyday technologies can be implemented in retirement living properties to improve residents’ quality of life and sustain inclusive communities.
The research, which was funded by the Longleigh Foundation, was undertaken by the University of Stirling in partnership with Stonewater to explore how technology can maximise opportunities to support residents to live well and safely, including when they develop conditions such as dementia.
