This year’s competition will highlight the importance of sustainable artwork, aligning with energy-efficiency measures at the Station Island site, which include air source heat pumps and solar panels, as well as Stonewater’s focus on investment in retrofitting existing homes and sustainable construction methods in new developments.

We are asking artists to keep sustainability and the environment at the core of their design and ideas, incorporating sustainable materials, environmentally considerate practice and installation, as well as taking inspiration from the flora, fauna and local landscape.
